Another View of a Juvenile in the Nest

I saw these young Yellow-crowned Night-herons testing their wings today. I think they'll be flying soon.

The Nest is More Crowded Than I Thought

It looks like there are three juvenile Yellow-crowned Night Herons in the nest, not two as I had originally thought. The nest looks about 75 feet above the ground; I took this picture through my binoculars from across the creek.

Two "Baby" Yellow-crowned Night-herons

I took this picture, believe it or not, by focusing my Casio EX-Z850 camera through the right eyepiece of my binoculars.
