This is reputed to have a bad taste that discourages its being eaten by predators.
This beetle is about 5/8 inches long. I have not yet identified the yellow insect.
This moth -- its length is approximately 1/2 inch -- was not sitting on an Ailanthus. I still haven't identified the flower.
When this blossom is fully grown it will measure 6 inches across. What is it? (For more orange things, see also: http://ddmcd.posterous.com/tag/orange )
